- All York City School District students follow the York City schedule.
- Regular Ed students follow their school district schedule. Our drivers will do their best to follow the independent schedules, but sometimes this may be impossible. If that route is not able to honor the district delay, the regular ed student will need to follow the LIU delay.
- All other students in LIU classes follow the Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12 schedule, which is listed under York and Adams Counties.
- If your school district is on a different delay than LIU, you still follow the LIU schedule. The LIU teachers follow the LIU schedule.
- The ONLY time you follow the school district schedule is if the school district closes.
- If LIU has a 1hr delay, AM Preschool goes an hour late.
- If LIU has a 2hr delay, AM Preschool is canceled.
- LIU delays/cancellations are posted to WGAL Channel 8, and WSBA radio. You can also check online at www.KellyTransit.com and www.WGAL.com.
- LIU or school districts may also dismiss early due to weather, power outages, etc. Again, parents must stay updated by TV, radio, or online. Parents will not be contacted by the school or transportation. If you will not be home for your child during early dismissals, please make alternate address or alternate adult arrangements in advance with your driver.
Please keep in mind that our drivers will do the best they can to remain on schedule during bad weather, but they may run late. Safety is our priority. Drivers will not attempt to enter icy or unplowed roads or driveways. Drivers may request that you meet them at the end of the driveway or a different stop if the roads aren't drivable. |
